Trained as a Paediatrician and Neonatologist, Prof Lai’s research focuses are evidence synthesis and meta-research. His has published over 170 peer-reviewed papers, with global citations in clinical practice guidelines. He is the trainer, reviewer and editors with Cochrane, advisor of the British Medical Journal Uncertainties series, editor of three other journals and reviewer for over 40 journals. .
